JPL has two great services from which to choose. The service times are... 9 AM and 11 AM. Pastor Steve's messages are identical in both however each service has it's own unique style.

Whether you pick the "NINE" or the "ELEVEN" from the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling and challenging presentation of the Bible and God's truth.

"11:00 am" The Eleven is a high voltage service featuring video, special lighting and high energy music, guitar, saxophone and instrument solos featuring many of the top Christian musicians in the Coachella Valley. People say, "they feel they have stepped into an exciting concert atmosphere." You will find you may want to clap, dance, shout and laugh with joy as you're moved in body, mind and spirit during the Eleven service.

YOUTH - CHILDREN - NURSERY You will find first class programs for your early childhood, children and youth at the 11 AM service. There is a well staffed nursery located next to the worship center. At check in we give you a pager so you can relax and know your little one is safe and only seconds away. We have a comfortable parents viewing room if you like to keep your baby with you. Many of our parents bring their babies in to the main worship center during the music then move to the viewing room where they can still see the platform, hear the service and attend to the needs of their children in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

"9:00 am" The Nine service is designed to be intimate and inspirational. We serve communion at the Nine service only. If you like an easy listening sound without drums you will like this service. So try the early service and get a head start on your day. Discover the peace and holiness the Nine service has to offer.

 

DOCTRINE  THE BIBLE AS OUR FINAL AUTHORITY

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is right and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”   2 Timothy 3:16-17

Pastor Steven Sorensen has a both a Master of Divinity (theology degree) and a Masters of Christian Education degree from Talbot Seminary.  He has Bachelors degree in Social Science – Missions from Biola University with a minor in Bible. He spent 4 years working as a missionary in Africa.

JPL endorses the book “Know the Truth” by Bruce Milne (InterVarsity Press) for a more detailed explanation of basic Christian doctrine.
